The Eastern Education Group is hosting an “Apprenticeships for All” information evening in Haverhill, Suffolk, to show people how they can start a new career through an apprenticeship. On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, the event will connect residents with training staff and local employers to discuss paid work and training opportunities.

The event takes place at the West Suffolk College Haverhill Centre, Provincial House, 32 High Street, Haverhill (CB9 8AR). The facility moved to the town centre after a £2 million investment from West Suffolk Council and, since relocating in November 2024, has spent its first year helping almost 450 local people learn new skills.

Visitors can find out about live job vacancies and get one-on-one help with their applications from training experts. There will be opportunities to speak with employers about roles in sectors such as manufacturing, construction and healthcare.

The evening is part of National Apprenticeship Week (9–15 February 2026) and highlights apprenticeships as an “earn-while-you-learn” alternative to university that can help people avoid tuition debt. Phil Stittle, Executive Director for Business Development at Eastern Education Group, said: “National Apprenticeship Week provides us with an excellent opportunity to showcase apprenticeships nationally—and also highlight the opportunities that exist to create the pathway for the next generation of apprentices.”

The free session runs on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Residents can attend free of charge; please check the Eastern Education Group or West Suffolk College websites for any booking requirements and further event details. Anyone looking to switch careers or start their first job is encouraged to attend and speak with the team.
