Camberley Theatre in Surrey is launching a new daytime disco called Boogie Days on 28 February 2026, aimed at residents aged 30 and over who want a club-like experience without a late finish.

The event runs from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will feature classic tracks from the 1970s through the 2000s. For the event the theatre’s auditorium will be used as a standing/dance space with event lighting, and the venue’s bar will be open for attendees (the theatre’s bar typically opens about an hour before show times).

Surrey Heath Borough Council, which owns and manages Camberley Theatre, has framed the initiative as part of efforts to keep the venue financially viable; organisers also say it may help boost footfall for Knoll Road businesses during quieter Saturday afternoons. The launch follows a wider UK trend in daytime clubbing and “daytime disco” events aimed at older demographics.

Tickets are on sale through the theatre’s website, and the box office can arrange gift vouchers for friends and family. Local shops and restaurants near the theatre may see increased trade as eventgoers arrive before and after the disco.

According to a Jan. 27 briefing, the theatre reported that ticket sales have been “strong” since they went on sale in mid-January. Organisers say they will consider adding a second date in May 2026 if the February launch sells out.
