Firefighters were called to a commercial building fire on Ladies Walk in Lancaster, Lancashire, on the evening of Wednesday, 28 January 2026. Crews were called at about 8:10pm and three fire engines from Lancaster and Morecambe attended to deal with the blaze in the mixed-use area near the Lancaster Canal.
According to the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service incident log as reported by Beyond Radio, crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
