Banbury residents can now see a full list of community activities for the warmer months after the Banbury BID launched its new online events guide in Banbury, Oxfordshire on February 02, 2026. The website brings together details for several local festivals and gatherings to help people plan their visits to the town centre.

The BID’s “What’s On” page includes dates for major town events managed by Banbury Town Council, such as A Taste of Spring on April 12, 2026. Other highlights include the Banbury Show on June 13, 2026, and the Town Mayor’s Funday on July 19, 2026, which is held in People’s Park.

Smaller local activities are also featured, such as weekly toddler bowling sessions listed in the guide as being hosted by Discobowl at the Cherwell Centre. Business leaders hope that having one central place for information will encourage more visitors to stay for a coffee or shop at local businesses during their visit.

The push for more visitors comes as Cherwell District Council and local partners look at ways to support the high street following a quiet end to 2025. Later in the summer the town will host Armed Forces Day on June 27, 2026, and the Banbury Music Mix on July 31, 2026.
