Families in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, can take part in a week of creative activities at The Amelia Scott during the February half-term. The Amelia’s “Discovery Days” programme runs from 16 to 21 February 2026; Kent County Council’s school half-term for 2025/26 is published as 16–20 February 2026.

The programme includes “Messy Play” sessions for early years and drawing workshops where visitors use items from the collections as inspiration for their art. Older children and teenagers can also join professional-led portrait photography sessions.

The Amelia Scott is operated by The Amelia Scott team, with funding and oversight from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Kent County Council. The venue is an integrated cultural and learning hub, combining a library, museum and art gallery in the heart of the town.

Some events are free to attend as drop-in sessions, while other workshops require a pre-booked ticket. More details and booking information are available on The Amelia Scott website: https://theamelia.co.uk/.
