The Tunbridge Wells Fringe Festival has confirmed it will return to Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, from May 30, 2026, to June 14, 2026, providing a two-week boost to local culture and trade.

Organisers Debbie King and Aimee Cooper have opened registration for local performers and venues who want to take part in the sixth annual event. The festival is volunteer-run and is expected to feature around 200 events across the town, including comedy, music and theatre .

The British Comedy Guide lists the festival and the 2026 dates; past programmes and local listings show the event uses venues across Tunbridge Wells — including theatres such as Trinity Theatre and The Forum, plus local pubs and community spaces (for example, The Sussex Arms) — to host shows and family-friendly activities. The 2026 dates have been moved from the festival’s historical early-July slot to late May/early June to align with the spring half-term holiday, a change intended to increase family attendance and bring early-season trade to independent shops and cafés.

The TW Fringe describes itself on its website as a not-for-profit, volunteer-run project.

A Times of Tunbridge Wells report in July 2022 noted the festival has grown since its 2021 launch and has become an established part of the town’s cultural calendar.
