The popular tribute music festival WV1Fest has confirmed it will return to West Park in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, 2026. This two-day summer event is set to feature over 30 live tribute acts performing across two stages in the historic Grade II listed parkland.
Tickets for the weekend are currently available through Ticketline, and organisers reported that Saturday VIP passes sold out within hours of the ticket launch. Besides the live music, visitors can expect thrill rides, market stalls, and plenty of family-friendly entertainment throughout the weekend.
Organised by UK Tribute Festivals (UK Tribute Festivals Ltd), the event is designed to offer a professional festival experience at a price that is affordable for local residents. The festival has become a regular part of the city’s summer calendar, growing from a small local gathering to an event that now attracts roughly 7,500 people each day.
Jools Taylor, the festival’s founder and director, noted that the city is a great fit for the festival because of the layout of the Victorian West Park and the enthusiastic local crowds. The festival celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2025 and continues to be a major event for the community and local businesses.
