The final stages of the approximately 550-acre (225-hectare) Cutacre Country Park are nearing completion at the Logistics North site in Over Hulton, Bolton, Greater Manchester, providing new walking paths and nature areas for the community. Developed as part of the Logistics North business hub by Harworth Group plc, the park is finishing its last phase of landscaping and is expected to be fully handed over by mid‑2026.

Harworth Group plc has transformed the former Cutacre surface mine into a mix of business space and public parkland. The site now features about 18 kilometres of trails for walking, cycling and horse riding and Harworth/Logistics North say around 40,000 trees have been planted. The project has also created new ecological and drainage ponds and species‑rich meadows to support local wildlife.

The green space provides outdoor recreation and rest areas for more than 6,000 employees working on‑site at Logistics North — including staff at occupiers such as Amazon, Aldi and MBDA — and is part of a wider development that Bolton Council says will bring substantial economic benefits to the area.

The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside (commonly ‘Lancashire Wildlife Trust’) helps manage the meadows to protect wading birds and other species. Work on the final phase includes completion of bird‑watching hides and the final official parking facilities near the A6 (Salford Road) to improve visitor access.
