Families in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, will have access to a variety of low‑cost activities including roller‑skating and theatre shows during the February half‑term, from 16 to 20 February 2026. The programme is organised by the Welwyn Garden City BID (Wonderful WGC) in partnership with Campus West to provide local parents with affordable entertainment options close to home.

The week of events includes special half‑term Roller City sessions throughout the week and discounted entry at Soft Play City to help fill the gap in holiday childcare for working parents. Organisers say the activities are also designed to bring more people into the town centre to support local shops and cafes following the recent closures of Santander and NatWest branches.

Families can sign up for Campus West’s free Zebra Discount Card membership, which can offer reductions of up to 50% across Campus West activities (including Roller City and Soft Play City). The programme sits within the WGC BID’s 2022–2027 Business Plan (Wonderful WGC), which aims to make the town a better place to live, work and visit through community events.
