Pop-culture fans can now plan their trips: Comic Con Midlands has officially confirmed it will return to the Telford International Centre in Telford, Shropshire, on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026. The announcement, published on 11 February 2026, gives residents and visitors several months to prepare for the large event, which often attracts tens of thousands of people to the town.

The event organiser, Monopoly Events, released the dates alongside updated arrival guidance on its official ‘Getting Here’ page to help manage the high number of people expected. The convention will feature celebrity guests, film and television set-and-prop displays, cosplay competitions and a large trader zone selling themed merchandise.

Visitors are being encouraged to use public transport or follow the organiser’s recommended road routes to avoid congestion in the town centre. Drivers are asked to use Gate B at postcode TF3 4EH (What3Words: Dive.Replying.Buzzards); the main venue postcode is TF3 4JH. The Telford International Centre is about a 15-minute walk (just over a mile) from Telford Central Station, and organisers also signpost motorway approaches via the M54 (Junction 4 westbound or Junction 5 eastbound) to help traffic flow.

According to Visit Telford, the weekend provides a significant boost to the local economy and often fills nearby hotels in the Southwater area to capacity. Local restaurants and shops can expect increased footfall during the two-day show.

Tickets for the weekend are being sold through official outlets, including Skiddle and TicketQuarter. Organisers advise booking accommodation early, as hotels in the area frequently sell out months before the gates open.
