Six men have been convicted following a 2025 shooting in Dudley, West Midlands, that left a woman with life-changing injuries. The shooting happened on July 3, 2025, when shots were fired through a window of a home on Priory Road.

A four-week trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court ended on February 11, 2026, with three men—Kile Straker, Ethan Colbourne, and Kieron Atkins—found guilty of attempted murder. According to West Midlands Police, the group used a stolen Audi to carry out the attack.

Among those convicted was Iranveer Gill, 28, who lives on Bridgnorth Road in Shipley, located right next to Kingswinford. Gill was found guilty of the theft of the motor vehicle used in the crime. Two other men, Stephen Simms and Kye Everitt, were also convicted of charges related to the incident, alongside the three men found guilty of attempted murder.

Detectives used CCTV and mobile phone data to catch the group as part of a police operation called Operation Target. This initiative focuses on stopping organised crime and gun violence to make local neighbourhoods safer.

The men will be sentenced on March 26, 2026, at Birmingham Crown Court. Police said they work 24 hours a day to bring people involved in serious crimes to justice and to support the victims of violence.
