Dorset Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man following a residential burglary on Tregonwell Road in Bournemouth, Dorset, on January 22, 2026.
The break-in happened at a home in the town centre at approximately 12:55 am. Several items were taken from the property, including two Samsung televisions and a karaoke machine.
A Blu-Ray DVD player and a Makita power drill were also among the goods reported stolen. On February 11, 2026, the police released a CCTV image of a man they wish to identify as part of their investigation.
Police Constable Kelly Stronach, who is leading the case, noted that the man in the image is wearing distinctive clothing. She believes someone in the community may be able to recognise him despite the quality of the picture.
Officers are urging neighbours in the West Cliff area to look through their doorbell or dashcam footage from the night of the burglary. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police and quote the reference number 55260009941.
