The Work This Way Jobs Fair will return to the Winter Gardens Conference Centre in Blackpool, Lancashire, on Thursday, February 26, 2026. This event is designed to help local residents find work by offering approximately 1,000 vacancies in one location.
The fair is organised by Chris Webb, MP for Blackpool South, alongside Jobcentre Plus and features more than 90 different employers. There will also be 40 support organisations on hand to provide residents with career advice and training information.
Jobcentre customers and those claiming unemployment benefits will have priority access to the hall from 9:30 AM until 12:30 PM. The doors will then open to the general public from 12:30 PM, allowing anyone looking for a new role or a career change to speak with recruiters directly.
Major regional employers such as the NHS, BAE Systems, and the North West Ambulance Service are confirmed to attend. Blackpool Pleasure Beach will also be present to recruit staff for more than 100 positions before its 2026 season begins in March.
The upcoming event follows a successful inaugural fair held in 2025, which attracted more than 4,000 jobseekers. Organisers report that the previous session helped over 1,000 people secure employment within the community.
