The Moon Under Water in Watford, Hertfordshire, will host a 12-day beer festival featuring international guest ales from Wednesday, March 4, 2026, to Sunday, March 15, 2026. This spring event will offer residents the chance to try 30 different real ales, with 28 of these being brand new to the pub chain.

For the first time in the history of the Wetherspoon spring beer festival, customers can taste a real ale from Mexico. This specific drink is a Session IPA made by a brewery called Malteza. Other guest beers from overseas will come from breweries in Brazil, Italy, Spain, and the United States.

The international lineup includes a beer called Tropical from Brazil, Nigredo from Italy, Vicious IPA from Spain, and Read the Room from the USA. Across the festival, drinkers can also sample beers featuring unusual ingredients like coffee, elderflower, hibiscus, and maple syrup.

The pub was recently recognised for its quality by being included in the Good Beer Guide 2026. The building itself has a long history, originally being the Victorian home of the Sedgwick family of local lawyers before becoming the Empress Winter Gardens in 1917 and the Bohemian Cinema in 1921.
