Torbay Council marked the 100-day countdown on February 18, 2026, for the return of the English Riviera Airshow to Paignton, Devon. The event is scheduled to take place from May 29 to May 31, 2026, and marks the 10th anniversary of the popular flying display.

Organisers from Torbay Council expect more than 200,000 people to visit the area over the three-day weekend. The event will begin with an opening-night celebration on Friday, May 29, followed by two full days of aerial displays over the bay.

Specific aircraft for the show have not yet been confirmed, but officials expect to hear from the Royal Air Force by the end of March 2026. This confirmation will include whether well-known display teams like the Red Arrows or the Typhoon will be taking part in the anniversary celebrations.

Local businesses are expected to see a boost in trade as the event historically brings about £5 million into the local economy. To help fund the show, a joint sponsorship programme has been launched that allows businesses to support both the airshow and the winter Bay of Lights festival.

Residents should expect busier roads and temporary parking changes during the event, which coincides with the school half-term break. Visitors are advised to pre-book their parking spaces, as standard parking spots in Zone 1 have cost approximately £25 in previous years.
