Staff from hotels, restaurants, and bars across Hampshire will meet on February 27, 2026, to share advice on recruitment and attracting more customers. The breakfast event, known as the Hospitality Networking Exchange, will take place at the Solent Hotel & Spa in Whiteley from 7:30 am to 9:30 am.

The session aims to help local businesses fill job vacancies and improve how they run their daily operations through shared professional advice. It is organised through a partnership between GO! Southampton, Food Allergy Aware, and the South Hampshire College Group.

Jo Cooper, the CEO of The Marketing Collective, will speak at the meeting about how businesses can use tourism campaigns to bring more people to the county. Attendees will also discuss ways to create better career paths for workers and solve common training and compliance issues within the industry.

This is the second time the group has met following an earlier session held in September 2025. By connecting local employers directly with colleges, the organisers hope to build a steady supply of new staff for the region’s hospitality sector.
