Police Release CCTV After Laptop Stolen In Northampton

Northamptonshire Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man after a laptop was stolen from outside the Aldi on Earl Street in Northampton, Northamptonshire, on February 9, 2026. The theft occurred after a woman accidentally left her laptop bag on the handlebars of a rented e-scooter while she visited the shop.

The incident took place between 2:40 PM and 3:00 PM outside the supermarket. According to Northamptonshire Police, the bag was taken from a Voi e-scooter parked at the location.

Officers released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak with on February 18, 2026. Authorities believe this individual may have information that could help with their investigation into the missing property.
