A 63-year-old man from Farnborough has been charged with four house break-ins in the local area following an investigation by the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, a development that affects residents in Fleet, Hampshire.
Paul Capon, of Clayton Road, was charged with two counts of burglary with intent to steal and two counts of burglary and theft. These incidents took place between September 2025 and October 2025 at homes on Hawley Road, Fernhill Walk, and Ashbury Drive in Farnborough, as well as Lower Wokingham Road in Crowthorne.
During the break-ins, items such as jewellery, watches, and cash were taken from the properties. Other items reported missing included perfume, electronics, and a handbag.
According to a Hampshire Alert, Capon was due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on February 18, 2026. This police update follows community surveys where local people in the Hart and Rushmoor districts asked for more focus on preventing property crime.
