A 22-year-old man from London has been charged with four driving offences after a car chase through Norwich, Norfolk, on February 17, 2026. According to the Norfolk Constabulary, the incident began when a BMW failed to stop for officers on Farmers Avenue.

Officers followed the vehicle through major city centre roads, including Red Lion Street and St Stephens Street. The pursuit was eventually stopped because of safety concerns for people in the area, but police later arrested the man on Grove Road.

Cavalli Harriot, of Foxley Close, London, was charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance. He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on February 19, 2026.

Harriot has been kept in custody and will remain there until his next hearing on March 19, 2026. These charges are part of a focus by police to remove high-harm and disqualified drivers from the local road network.
