A major part of this year’s success was the Stockroom cultural hub, which has seen an average of 100,000 visits every month since it opened in May 2025.
To keep the area secure for everyone, local bars and restaurants have taken part in the Licensing Security and Vulnerability Initiative training to help staff look after customers. This focus on safety comes as the town continues to grow, with 10 new businesses opening their doors over the last 12 months to welcome more people in the evenings.
