Three men have been charged with conspiracy to burgle following a police operation in Brookmans Avenue, Hertfordshire, that involved a helicopter search. The arrests took place around 7:00 PM on Thursday, 19 February 2026, after officers were called to reports of suspicious activity in Brookmans Park.

According to the Hertfordshire Constabulary, the suspects are 32-year-old Ignacio Juica Rocabado, 39-year-old Miguel Gomez Ramirez, and 35-year-old Christian Diaz. The three men, who are of unknown address, were caught by local neighbourhood teams from the Welwyn Hatfield district with support from a National Police Air Service helicopter.

Following a hearing at Hatfield Remand Court, all three suspects were remanded in prison and are now waiting for a future appearance at Crown Court. Detective Chief Inspector Grant Finnie said the quick arrests should reassure the community that police are committed to stopping organised crime and driving down burglary rates.

Officers are now asking residents to check their doorbell cameras or CCTV for any footage that could help with the investigation. Anyone with useful video or information is encouraged to contact the police or share details through the Herts Connected community platform.
