The Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham has added a new production of The Full Monty to its 2027 programme, giving residents in Beeston, Nottinghamshire a chance to see the professional show nearby. The 30th-anniversary tour will run for one week from Monday 8 February to Saturday 13 February 2027.
This stage version of the story about six unemployed men was written by the original film screenwriter, Simon Beaufoy. The production is directed by Michael Gyngell and is a joint project between the Everyman Theatre Cheltenham and Buxton Opera House, in association with producers Mark Goucher and David Pugh.
Local people can travel to the theatre from the Beeston Centre tram stop using the Toton Lane line. The journey takes approximately 23 minutes and arrives at the Royal Centre stop, which is located directly outside the theatre entrance.
The national tour is set to begin in Sheffield in January 2027 before visiting several other cities including Cardiff and Manchester. Tickets for the Nottingham performances are expected to go on sale to the general public in early 2026.
