A 37-year-old man from Swindon, Wiltshire, has been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison for selling cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin. Simon Huckvale, of White Castle, Toothill, appeared at Swindon Crown Court on 25 February 2026 where he pleaded guilty to three counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and possessing criminal property.

The sentencing followed an investigation by Wiltshire Police that led to a search of Huckvale’s bedroom in January 2026. During the search, officers discovered drugs with a street value of approximately £14,000 and £2,500 in cash.

Huckvale was a repeat offender who had been released from prison on licence in October 2025, just four months before this latest sentence. His previous conviction in June 2025 involved drug supply and “cuckooing,” a practice where drug dealers take over the home of a vulnerable person to use as a base for their illegal activity.

Police officials noted that Huckvale showed a complete disregard for the terms of his early release by returning to drug dealing immediately. The court’s decision aims to disrupt local drug supply chains and provide reassurance to residents that persistent criminal activity is being targeted by the authorities.
