Families in Southampton can take part in a monthly art club for young children at Southampton City Art Gallery on 28 March 2026. The Mini Monets session is designed for children under seven and runs from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
Led by artist Debra Marsh, the one-hour activity allows children to try out different art styles and materials in a mess-free environment. Tickets for the session are priced at £7.50 and are available through Southampton Museums and Gallery.
The session takes place on the same day as the launch of the Southampton Old Town Easter Trail, a free family activity that runs until 14 April 2026. While the art club is located at the Civic Centre, parents can visit the gallery before heading to the historic streets of the city to find hidden eggs.
According to Southampton Museums and Gallery, the art club is part of a wider programme of creative workshops for the spring holidays. Other activities at the gallery include making Peter Rabbit puppets on 31 March 2026 and printing fabric bags for egg hunts on 1 April 2026.
