Banbury Train Timetables Changed for Wembley Concerts

Chiltern Railways has altered train timetables through Banbury for three dates this week, as Harry Styles brings his residency to Wembley Stadium on 1 July, 3 July, and 4 July. The operator will run additional services stopping at the stadium during afternoons and evenings, but some regular commuter trains face cancellations or shorter carriages.

The Chiltern Railways station page for Banbury confirms amended timetables operate on each concert day. After the shows, a colour-coded queue at Wembley Stadium station directs Banbury passengers to the ‘Pink Queue – Bicester North, Banbury and stations towards Birmingham Moor Street’. On 4 July, no trains will run beyond Banbury towards Birmingham after the concert ends.

The changes are part of a wider plan for Styles’s 12-night residency, which began on 12 June and wraps up on 4 July. Shania Twain supports all dates. The Wembley Events Travel Information page warns of variations to normal timetables, including cancelled services and reduced carriage formations, and urges passengers to check journeys carefully.

On 1 July, the 07:21 Princes Risborough to Marylebone service is among those axed, with other Oxford and Birmingham route trains running fewer carriages during peak times.
