Families in Banbury can take part in the annual Easter Bunny Trail across the town centre from 27 March 2026 until 12 April 2026. Organised by Banbury BID, the event encourages residents to explore local shops during the Easter school holidays by searching for ten decorative bunnies hidden in business windows.
The bunnies have been decorated by pupils from ten local primary schools, including Cherry Fields, St Leonards, Christopher Rawlins, Hornton, Orchard Fields, Hanwell Fields, Wroxton, Harriers, Bishop Loveday, and Bloxham. This community effort is part of a larger initiative by the organisation, which represents 388 businesses in the town centre.
To participate, residents can pick up a trail leaflet from the Castle Quay Shopping Centre Info Hub, the Banbury United Lottery Desk, Banbury Museum & Gallery, or Banbury Library. Once families have located all ten bunnies, they can submit their completed forms at the museum to enter a prize draw.
Prizes for the trail include climbing sessions at The Light Banbury, bowling at Discobowl Banbury, and a chocolate hamper. The event is part of the ongoing work of the town centre partnership, which was established following a local business ballot in 2017.
