Banbury Town Council is starting its 2026 community events calendar with A Taste of Spring on 12 April 2026 in Banbury, Oxfordshire. This event will bring food, drink, and live music to the town’s Market Place to help residents celebrate the start of the new season together.

The festival runs from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm and is free for all members of the public to attend. Visitors will find a wide variety of food stalls and drink vendors offering different types of meals and snacks from across the local region.

Local musicians will provide entertainment throughout the day with a series of live performances. These musical acts are being organised in collaboration with Banbury Music Mix Radio to highlight talent from the community.

As the first major town event of the year, the council hopes to encourage more people to visit the town centre and support local businesses. The day is designed to be a family-friendly occasion that focuses on community spirit and local culture in the heart of the town.
