Families in Basildon, Essex, can now access cheaper swimming lessons after Basildon Sporting Village announced a price cut for its intensive courses. On 17 March 2026, the centre confirmed it is offering a block of five lessons for £35 to help more children improve their skills in the water.
The price reduction is an effort by the facility operator, Everyone Active, to fill the remaining spaces in its current crash courses. These sessions are designed to provide professional coaching at a lower cost for local families looking to boost children’s confidence in the pool.
The sporting village operates in partnership with Basildon Borough Council and features an Olympic-sized 50-metre pool and a learner pool. Because spaces for these discounted lessons are limited, staff are encouraging people to contact the centre directly to book a place.
