Families in Basingstoke, Hampshire, can visit a new Peter Rabbit themed event at the local history museum this spring. The Milestones Museum is hosting A Peter Rabbit Springtime Adventure from 28 March to 12 April 2026 to offer children hands-on activities during the school holidays.

The event features an actor playing Beatrix Potter who will lead story sessions for young visitors in a themed area. Children can also take part in seed planting, a paper trail with prizes, and garden games like vegetable tossing and a pineapple shy.

Craft workshops will be available for making bunny ears and garlands within the museum’s recreated historic streets at the Basingstoke Leisure Park. The site is managed by the Hampshire Cultural Trust and will also host the Cobbles and Cogs festival on 21 March 2026.

Tickets for the Easter period are priced at £19.50 for adults and £13.50 for children to cover the extra holiday activities. However, people who already have an annual pass for the museum can attend the adventure at no extra cost.
