Residents in Beeston, Nottinghamshire, will see a change in how they use the local recycling facility starting this March 2026. Nottinghamshire County Council has updated the daily opening times and visitor rules for the centre on Lilac Grove to help the site run more smoothly for everyone.
The facility is now open to the public from 8:00am to 4:00pm every day of the week. These new hours and updated guidelines are intended to help local people get in and out of the site more efficiently when they are dropping off their household waste.
This location is one of 12 recycling centres that the council looks after for residents across the county. According to RubbishSite.co.uk, these centres are a key part of how the local community manages waste that cannot be picked up in regular bin collections.
Most recycling centres in the area stay open throughout the year, only closing their gates on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day. Council officials suggest that residents confirm the latest details on the official website before they travel to the Lilac Grove site.
