Families in Beeston, Nottinghamshire, can see the characters from the popular children’s TV show Bluey live on stage at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham, from 26 February to 1 March 2026. The stage production, Bluey’s Big Play, features brilliantly created puppets and large-scale puppetry and presents an original stage story not previously broadcast on television.

The show follows the Heeler family as Bluey and Bingo try to get their dad, Bandit, off his bean bag for a game. It was written by the show’s creator, Joe Brumm, and features new music by the series composer, Joff Bush, to help the live performance retain the feel of the animated series.

According to Visit Nottinghamshire, the event is suitable for all ages and includes a special relaxed performance on Friday 27 February 2026 at 1:00 PM. Parents can find tickets for the various morning and afternoon performances through Ticketmaster UK and the venue’s box office.

Residents can reach the theatre in about 20 minutes by taking the Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tram from Beeston Centre to the Royal Centre stop, which is adjacent to the venue. The tour returns to Nottingham after sell-out runs in previous years and is described by listings as ‘back by popular demand.’
