A popular bar and restaurant in Beeston, Nottinghamshire, is set for a major change as it prepares to reopen with a new look and a new name this February. The venue formerly known as the Glass Orchid is being expanded and is scheduled to relaunch as Glass & Co on 11 February 2026, according to the Research Dossier and operator communications.

OneUnion Pubs says the unit at Unit 5, Beeston Square (Station Road) is closed while builders carry out a month-long refurbishment and an expansion into the adjacent unit to create more seating and improved facilities for customers.

Nottinghamshire Live reports the venue has shut for a full refurbishment and will return in early February under the new name Glass & Co. The operator’s statement in that report said: “It’s a huge moment for us… January will be all about building what comes next. And in early February 2026, we’ll be opening our doors once again… this time as Glass & Co.” The operator is also taking bookings for Valentine’s Day (14 February 2026), according to the operator’s announcements.

The change marks a new chapter for the site in the £50m Beeston Square development, which has hosted several different businesses. The Glass Orchid originally opened in September 2023; the independent venture closed in late 2024, and OneUnion Pubs took over and reopened the site under its management in late 2024/December 2024.

TripAdvisor lists the venue as “Reopening February 2026” following an extension and refurbishment. The site — Unit 5, Beeston Square — is located adjacent to the Beeston Centre tram stop, keeping it central to the town’s evening activity.
