Warm Weather Forecast For Blackpool Early This Week

Residents and visitors in Blackpool can expect a warm start to the week with plenty of sunshine before more unsettled weather arrives later on. According to the Met Office, temperatures will climb as high as 20°C on Tuesday, 7 April, which is significantly warmer than the typical April average of 5°C to 12°C for Northern England.

The sunny conditions begin today, Monday 6 April, with temperatures reaching 15°C. This period of pleasant weather coincides with the start of the main opening season for many local attractions, including Blackpool Pleasure Beach, which remains open through October. Those planning to spend time outdoors should be aware that birch and ash pollen levels are expected to be high to very high during the early part of the week.

The weather is forecast to change significantly from Thursday, 9 April, as temperatures drop to 10°C accompanied by light rain and wind gusts reaching up to 36mph. Conditions are set to remain unsettled through the weekend of 11-12 April, with cloudy skies and a persistent chance of light rain with temperatures hovering around 11°C.
