The Spotted Cow pub in Bloxwich, West Midlands, is collecting chocolate eggs and money to support children in local hospitals this spring. Residents are invited to drop off gifts at the pub on Wolverhampton Road throughout March 2026. The donations will be given to young patients at Manor Hospital in Walsall and New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton.
Landlord Zac Peate launched the appeal following a 390,000 pound renovation of the building in late 2025. The pub is part of the Proper Pubs group and has committed to running monthly charity events to help the local community. This latest drive aims to make sure every child staying on a ward receives a treat for the holiday.
With Easter Sunday falling on 5 April 2026, the pub needs all contributions to be handed in before the end of March. This allows the team enough time to work with hospital staff to organise the deliveries. Local people can help by bringing in physical Easter eggs or making a payment at the bar towards the collection.
