On February 17, 2026,  West Midlands Police Walsall team launched an anonymous survey for people in Bloxwich, West Midlands, to report local issues like noise and vandalism to help officers decide where to send more patrols.

Information gathered by the Safer Walsall Partnership will be used to create a safety strategy for the town over the coming year, with a focus on youth gatherings and intimidating behaviour. The five-minute questionnaire allows residents to highlight specific concerns to help authorities understand which areas need the most attention.

Local officers are particularly interested in hearing about problems on the high street, where groups of young people have been reported riding bicycles in a way that is dangerous or frightening to others. The results of the survey may lead to more visits from Walsall Council community protection enforcement officers who help police tackle local disturbances.

This focus on resident feedback follows a 48-hour dispersal order issued on December 3, 2025, around Stephenson Square and Stephenson Avenue, which gave West Midlands Police the power to move on groups causing a nuisance. By sharing their experiences, residents can help the police identify hotspots and stop these issues from happening again.
