Residents in Bloxwich, West Midlands, should prepare for heavy rain, blustery showers, and a risk of hail and thunder on February 20, 2026. The Met Office warns that these showers could merge into longer periods of rain throughout the day.

The chance of rainfall is expected to be higher than 95 per cent between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Wind gusts could reach up to 36mph, and families are encouraged to secure loose garden furniture or outdoor items that could be blown around by the wind.

The Environment Agency has issued flood warnings for the region as soaked ground increases the risk of travel disruption. Walsall Council monitors local drainage, as heavy rain has historically led to closures on the Walsall-to-Rugeley train line and bus routes along Leamore Lane.

Despite the stormy conditions, the weather will remain fairly mild with a high of 11°C on Friday. Temperatures are forecast to rise to 13°C on Saturday, though the weather is expected to stay unsettled with further strong winds and rain at times.
