Two men have been charged with burglary following a break-in at a business on Bloxwich High Street in the early hours of 7 April 2026. West Midlands Police officers arrived at the scene shortly after the incident occurred and arrested the two suspects, aged 44 and 41.

Both men remain in custody and are due to appear in court to face the charges. This response marks part of an ongoing effort by local police to address concerns regarding business crime and anti-social behaviour in the area.

The Bloxwich Neighbourhood Policing Team, led by Neighbourhood Policing Manager Inspector John Butler, currently lists the prevention of anti-social behaviour on the high street as a key priority. This work includes efforts to stop groups of youths from causing disruption to traders and residents.

According to data from CrimeRate, the town recorded a crime rate of 100 offences per 1,000 people in 2025. Regional police efforts to manage these issues have been active throughout the year, with the force reporting 346 arrests and 90 charges across the West Midlands for burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, and theft from a motor vehicle in January 2026 alone.
