Bolton Wanderers FC is searching for a lucky football fan who has yet to claim a 1,000 pound cash prize from a recent match in Bolton, Greater Manchester. The winning ticket was part of the Golden Goal competition held during the home game against Wycombe Wanderers on 7 March 2026.
The winning ticket matches the exact time of the first goal of the game, which was scored at 26 minutes and 28 seconds. This prize money grew to 1,000 pounds after the 500 pound prize from the previous home match against Blackpool also went unclaimed.
Club officials are asking supporters to check their pockets and bags for any forgotten tickets from the match. The winner can collect their cash by visiting the Ticket Office at the Toughsheet Community Stadium or by contacting the club lottery department directly.
