Bolton Wanderers players have received top honours for their performances during the 2025/26 campaign as the team prepares for the second leg of their play-off semi-final against Bradford City.

Striker Sam Dalby has been named the club’s Player of the Season after a fan vote, marking a successful first year at Bolton Wanderers. Dalby, who joined the club in June 2025, also secured the top goal scorer title for the season with 13 goals across all competitions.

Teammate Amario Cozier-Duberry was also recognised for his impact, winning both the Players’ Player of the Season and Young Player of the Year awards. The winger, on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, has contributed significantly to the team’s attack with nine goals and ten assists throughout the league season.

Additionally, on-loan forward Johnny Kenny has been shortlisted for the League One Player of the Month award for April. Kenny, who joined the club from Celtic in January, earned the nomination after scoring in five consecutive appearances, helping head coach Steven Schumacher guide the side to a fifth-place league finish.

The squad heads into their next match with a 1-0 aggregate lead following their victory in the first leg on 9 May 2026. The deciding fixture against Bradford City will take place on 14 May 2026 at the University of Bradford Stadium.
