The Greater Manchester Business Fair returns to Bolton on Wednesday 15 July for its fifteenth year, offering a free day of networking and advice for firms across the region. Organised by Liverpool Business Associations, the event runs from 10:30am to 3pm at the Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel.

Around 50 exhibitors and hundreds of visitors typically attend the fair, which was set up in 2011 to bring local companies together in a friendly but professional setting. There is no need to pre-register; visitors simply hand over a business card or fill in a sign-in sheet at the registration desk. A free networking session gets underway at 1pm, and all attendees receive complimentary post-event promotion.

The organisers have been running business fairs since 2002, when their flagship Liverpool Business Fair launched at Liverpool Town Hall. The Greater Manchester event started nine years later and has previously been held at Salford University and the AJ Bell Stadium. Chamber members from both Liverpool and Manchester are encouraged to use the fair as an inter-city networking opportunity, reconnecting with existing contacts and forging new ones.

The fair is open to businesses of all sizes, from sole traders to large companies, and welcomes those who are still at the idea stage. Exhibitor bookings and sponsorship packages are available through the Manchester Business Fair website.
