The Horwich Leisure Centre in Horwich, Greater Manchester, has published its February half-term activity schedule aimed at keeping local children active and entertained during the upcoming school break.

According to Bolton Council and the centre’s timetable, the half-term runs from Monday 16 February to Friday 20 February 2026. Parents can book supervised activities aimed at school-aged children via the centre’s booking channels.

Horwich’s week-long programme lists pool-based family sessions including Family Float, Family Fun and inflatable pool sessions. Other holiday programmes across Bolton’s leisure network include football coaching, badminton court bookings and supervised multi-sport sessions — readers should check the Horwich ‘School Holiday Activities’ page and the borough-wide ‘What’s On’ listings for centre-specific events and times.

These activities are currently managed by Serco Leisure on behalf of Bolton Community Leisure Trust. Bolton Middlebrook Leisure Trust (BMLT) has been appointed by Bolton Council as the managing agent and will take over operations at the council-owned leisure centres from 1 April 2026.

Families can book places via the Leisure Hub online portal or the Bolton Leisure app. Costs vary by session; some concessions and discounts (for example for Junior Leisure Card holders) may be available for specific sessions — parents should check the session details when booking.

For full session listings, times and to book, see the Horwich Leisure Centre holiday activities page and the Bolton Leisure ‘What’s On’ listings.
