Police have charged a man following two separate stabbing incidents in Bolton on 21 April 2026. The attacks occurred on Tonge Moor Road around 10:30am, leaving two men with stab wounds that required medical treatment at the scene.

According to Greater Manchester Police, 52-year-old Andrew Fallows, of Tonge Moor Road, has been charged with two counts of section 18 assault and possession of a bladed article. He appeared at Bolton Magistrates Court on 23 April 2026 following an investigation into the events.

Authorities confirmed that the victims did not know their attacker and the incidents were linked to mental health concerns. While the investigation remains ongoing, police have stated that these were isolated occurrences and there is no wider threat to the public.
