Residents in Bolton, Greater Manchester, should prepare for a wet and blustery day on Sunday, 15 March 2026. The Met Office predicts a damp start to the morning with periods of rain that will turn into frequent, heavy showers by the afternoon.

These showers are likely to be wintry over hills and higher ground, which could lead to difficult conditions for people travelling. Forecasts show that the chance of rain will reach 95 per cent around midday.

Strong winds will also affect the area throughout the day, with gusts expected to reach speeds of up to 37mph. While the weather is expected to remain unsettled on Sunday, the forecast indicates that conditions may begin to dry out as the new week starts.
