Dorset Police have released an image of a man they want to speak with after two outbuildings were burgled and a car broken into on Corhampton Road in Bournemouth. The incidents unfolded in the early hours of 19 June 2026, starting with a theft from a vehicle at around 3.35am when two pairs of sunglasses were taken from a parked car. Less than an hour later, between 4.30am and 5.10am, two separate outbuildings on the same road were targeted, with tools, clothes and electronics stolen.
Police Constable Kayleigh Pingarelli, of Dorset Police, said: “Our investigations into this matter have been continuing and I am now in a position to issue an image of a man we would like to identify and speak with. I would ask the man pictured, or anyone who recognises him, to please get in touch.” She also appealed to anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area during those hours to come forward. The appeal was published on 30 June, 11 days after the crimes, following what officers described as ongoing enquiries.
The three incidents occurred within a tight two-hour window and within the same residential street, suggesting the offender may have been familiar with Corhampton Road or was deliberately targeting easy-access property. No previous incidents on the road have been flagged in recent years, pointing to these being isolated offences rather than part of a wider pattern. Anyone with information can contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55260090872. Anonymous reports can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via its website.
The police have not confirmed whether the same individual is suspected for all three crimes, but the proximity in time and location points to a single person of interest. Officers are hoping a member of the public will recognise the man and come forward.
