Families planning a visit to the Bournemouth Pier attraction RockReef can now claim up to four free combo upgrades worth £30 when booking tickets before 22 May 2026. The offer is available to those who purchase a Family and Friends climbing package, providing extra access to indoor activities at no additional cost as the site celebrates its 12th year of operation.

The promotion applies to the Family and Friends climbing combo for four people, with each member of the group eligible to choose between the PierCave tunnel adventure or the HighLine aerial obstacle course. While the site also features the PierZip zip wire, this specific upgrade offer does not include that activity. RockReef, operated by Adventure Attractions Ltd, will be open daily from 23 May to 31 May 2026, covering the upcoming May half-term break (25-29 May 2026).

This initiative follows a recent effort to increase local accessibility to the landmark. Adventure Attractions Ltd has invested more than £700,000 to suspend the Bournemouth Pier toll indefinitely. This change was implemented in partnership with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council to encourage more residents and visitors to use the space.

According to Amanda Barrie, the council’s Director of Commercial Operations, the removal of the toll is intended to boost local tourism and support the economy by keeping the pier accessible to everyone. RockReef, which first opened in 2014, currently offers a variety of challenges, including 28 Clip ‘n Climb climbing walls, a vertical slide, and a leap of faith, catering to visitors aged four and up.
