Community groups and event organisers in Bournemouth can now access projectors and screens when booking space at the Kinson Community Centre. The equipment is the latest addition to the amenities offered by BCP Council, which took over management of the site located in Pelhams Park.
Those interested in using the new equipment should specify their requirements when sending a booking request by email to [email protected]. The centre currently offers 12 rooms across three floors, as well as a main hall and kitchenette that can host up to 200 people standing or 160 seated.
Hire charges for the facility depend on the size of the room, ranging from £11 to £27.50 per hour on weekdays, and between £13 and £33 per hour on weekends. The centre is open for bookings from 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The facility is housed within the historic Pelhams House, a Grade II listed building constructed in the late 1700s. The site is currently under council management following the closure of the Kinson Community Association in 2022.
