Dorset Police have released images of a man they want to identify following a threat involving a knife in Bournemouth, Dorset. The incident happened at around 3:20pm on Friday, 9 January 2026.
A victim was in the area of Bath Road when he was approached by a man carrying what appeared to be a Stanley knife. The suspect threatened the victim with the blade before the victim got into his car and drove away. The suspect is believed to have made off from the scene toward Gervis Road.
Officers are now asking for the public’s help to identify the man shown in camera images as part of their investigation. Police Constable Alex Ayre is leading the appeal and wants to hear from anyone who recognises the person or has information about what happened.
