The Cheltenham Music Festival will return to Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, from July 3 to July 11, 2026. This summer event brings together musicians and audiences for over a week of performances in local venues.

Organisers at Cheltenham Festivals will reveal the full list of shows and performers on March 6, 2026. This announcement gives residents the opportunity to plan their summer attendance and book tickets or volunteer roles in advance.

Artistic Director Jack Bazalgette will lead the festival for his second year as part of a three-year plan to grow the event. The festival has seen a surge in popularity recently, with audience numbers doubling during the previous year.

Events will be held at several local spots including the Cheltenham Town Hall, the Pittville Pump Room, and Gloucester Cathedral. Before the music begins, the community will also host the Cheltenham Science Festival from June 2 to June 7, 2026.

The parent charity behind these events recently reported record engagement with local schools and young people. For the 2026 season, the organisation aims to further increase its reach across the community.
