Run Cheltenham has opened entries for its 2026 event taking place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The day will include a half marathon, a 10km race, and a one-mile family run starting and ending at the local racecourse.

The 10km race is set to begin at 08:20 AM, followed by the 13.1-mile half marathon at 09:00 AM. Younger runners and families can participate in the ‘Move More Mile’ starting at 09:30 AM.

Aerospace company Safran Landing Systems is the main partner for the event. The race also serves as a major fundraiser for Sue Ryder, which is the headline charity for the 2026 races.

The 2026 course will follow a layout that focuses on town landmarks like the Pittville Pump Room. This design avoids a section inside the racecourse grounds that was removed in 2024 to improve the experience for participants.

Residents should plan for road closures starting from 7:00 AM on the morning of the race. Areas likely to be affected include Lansdown Road, Bath Road, and Pittville, as shown on the official road diversion map.
