Racegoers are being urged to book quickly as tickets for Gold Cup Day on 13 March 2026 are nearly sold out at Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire. The final day of the event is seeing high demand as fans prepare for the climax of the jump-racing season.
According to The Jockey Club, the premium Club and Tattersalls enclosures are now sold out for the final day. There are currently only a limited number of general admission tickets left for the Best Mate enclosure.
For the 2026 event, the daily capacity has been reduced to 66,000 people to help make the site less crowded and improve the experience for visitors. Across the four-day festival, which runs from 10 March to 13 March 2026, more than 220,000 people are expected to attend.
Adult day tickets start at £60 for those looking to attend earlier in the week. Organisers say those who want to see the iconic Gold Cup race should act fast to secure their spot before the final day sells out completely.
